Homes: Brock Neighbourhood

This township along the south shore of Lake Simcoe, just east of Georgina, lies about 100 km northeast of Toronto. It was the result of a 1974 amalgamation of the rural villages of Beaverton, Cannington (the largest community) and Sunderland, plus the areas of Thorah and Brock. The community is named for famous War of 1812 General, Sir Isaac Brock, and has many early settlers from Ireland, England and Scotland.

The area has convenient York Region and GO Transit to connect to other parts of York Region and the Greater Toronto Area
