The City Playhouse, in partnership with the City of Vaughan, has provided outstanding theatre, dance, and music since 2002. It showcases professional and community based theatre, performances in dance and music from professional and community based production companies, art exhibitions and multicultural events. As well, it is involved in theatre education and Outreach Programs to establish long-term connections with the community.

Box Office: open Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 2 pm - 7 pm and Saturday from noon - 5 pm.

The Auditorium is an intimate, 386-seat proscenium theatre space with great acoustics, a large stage with a removable orchestra pit, and excellent sight-lines from any seat in the house.
